I have completed an eight-month long Open University course on designing for a sustainable future. Taking sections of the course and applying it to your designs, together we can make your design, cheaper, more efficient and environmentally friendly.
The techniques and strategies used are: -
Green Design
Reduces environmental impact by focusing on one or two environmental objectives. There is a 50% improvement in eco-efficiency (reducing environmental impact by technical changes) relative to existing products over 5 years.EcoDesign
Reduces total environmental impact by considering the whole life-cycle of the product. There is an 80% improvement in eco-efficiency relative to existing products over 10 years.
